Star Wars games have always been legendary. The biggest example of this is definitely Knights of the Old Republic (KotOR). However, in recent years, the Star Wars Jedi series developed by EA Games has also been on a big rise. Now, according to a new news, the third game of the beloved series is coming.
The actor who plays the main character has confirmed that a third Star Wars Jedi game is coming
Actor and voice actor Cameron Monaghan has confirmed that a third Star Wars: Jedi game is on the way.
Speaking at last week’s Ocala Comic Con, Monaghan, who plays lead character Cal Kestis, revealed to the audience that he is working on a third Jedi Fallen Order game. “We’re in the process of making a third game right now,” Monaghan said during a panel.
“It’s a big undertaking and there have been some conversations so far, but hopefully when all is said and done we can go in and make something really great.”
The news that a third game is in development follows the acclaimed Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, comes just days after we learned that Stig Asmussen, the director behind the acclaimed Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, had left Respawn Entertainment and EA to pursue other adventures.
“After careful consideration, Stig Asmussen has decided to leave Respawn to pursue other adventures and we wish him the best of luck,” an EA spokesperson said: “As experienced Respawn developers continue their work on Star Wars Jedi: Survivor,” adding that “experienced Respawn developers will step in to guide the team as they continue their work on Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.”
EA recently announced that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, which launched in April for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC, will launch at some point in the future: Survivor will make the jump to previous-gen Xbox One and PlayStation 4 at some point in the future.
In fact, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has only been out for 5 months. The fact that Respawn and EA are already working on a third game shows that the series has really paid off for them. Or is EA going back to making games with a decent story and no microtransactions? Please don’t forget to share your thoughts with us in the comments.
